She holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Science in Genetic Counselling from the University of British Columbia.

Dana has supported numerous individuals and families in navigating the complexities of genomic testing—both in the pursuit of a diagnosis and in using that information to guide informed reproductive decision-making.
